FINE-SIL516 Silica

FINE-SIL516 is an ultra-fine precipitated silica with special treatment, featuring strong adsorbability and good dispersibility. It is mainly used for adsorption, anti-settling and thickening in anodized aluminum, coatings, inks and other industries. Especially in paints and coatings, it can replace diatomite with high price for primer production.

I. Product Features
1. Excellent matting effect, can be used to manufacture various matte coatings such as semi-matte, soft matte, full matte and even non-matte.
2. Good dispersibility, can be dispersed to below 15µm by high-speed stirring.
3. The prepared paint film has good transparency and no fogging.
4. No impact on drying, storage and curing of coatings.
5. The paint film is smooth, fine, wear-resistant, with good scratch resistance and impact resistance.
6. No impact on durability and weather resistance of the paint film.
7. Good anti-settling property, no hard precipitation during coating storage.
8. Uniform distribution of matting powder and good hand feeling.
II. Product Application
Defoamers must be fully dispersed in coatings to give full play to their functions. FINE series products can be easily dispersed in coatings with a standard high-speed disperser. Users should pay attention to factors affecting dispersion such as blade diameter, container size, coating slurry height and impeller linear speed during use.
